Foundation For Success when backing horses
A foundation for success when starting, pre-starting or re-starting horses... What does that entail?

When backing horses, we start from the ground. Using groundwork such as long lining, desensitizing and in-hand exercises, we lay a foundation and prepare them for a rider. Starting from the ground gives us the opportunity to teach them all the aids before we are even on their back. It also helps to get them more brave and confident.

This makes it easier for them to progress to their ridden work.
Under saddle, we make sure your horse knows all the basics and is happy in their work. So they are all set up for their ridden career.

The starting process usually takes 6-8 weeks.
